We designed and implemented a comprehensive cost-optimization program for logistics function, delivering measurable reductions in transportation expenses and efficiency gains through modal shift, wagon fleet optimization, improved wagon turnover, streamlined maintenance and repair, and a revised internal pricing policy.

In parallel, we carried out business process improvements and an organizational re-design of the logistics function, including on-site validation and feasibility testing of major initiatives.

Result: The program delivered significant business effects, achieving USD 9.7 million in cost savings while improving the efficiency and resilience of logistics operations.
